Where are my Lumix videos stored (on the SD card) and how can I play them?

While travelling I've had to buy a new camera; Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 (The TZ7 in Europe and America). The manual doesn't contain English and I can't find an answer to my question online...

It appears that videos are stored separately to photos with the camera and I'm unable to find my videos anywhere. I'm sure this would be easier if I could install the accompanying Panasonic software but I'm using a netbook and have no CD-ROM drive!

I need to find out where the videos are stored and how I can play / store / share them.

Thanks very much!
I was really hoping for some answers from people who've actually used a Panasonic camera for videos...

I know how SD cards work thanks. This camera however seems to store videos differently to any others I've used. There are numerous folders full of filetypes I cannot open leading me to believe that the Panasonic photo editing software is required...

Some of the files that look likely to being my videos are MTS files but I want to make sure before I start converting.

Usually with any camera or removable storage, if you browse the SD card on your netbook so long as you have an SD card slot or a USB wire for the camera, you should find 2 or more folders. take a look inside each to find the one with the pictures and the one with the videos, by the way, i do use Panasonic cameras, if you can't play it, don't bother converting it, just get your preferred media player software new codecs

Using your computer skills, copy your video files on the memory card to your computer. You can make a new file folder with any name you want.
