Please help! Just bought a Nikon N60 35mm camera and I didnt know?

That is was the body only!! What does that mean? Also I heard it meant I just need to buy lens for it but I have no clue what kind of lens! I am a new photography student and I am required to have this camera for class.
Also it is a SLR And it takes film

Your local Nikon dealer should be able to hook you up with the proper lens. Just don't get carried away and overspend, until you use the camera for a while, and find which lenses (upgrades) that you really need. Go here, and check out the lens shown. It would do a fine job for you. [URL Truncated]

FYI, an SLR either Digital or analog uses interchangeable lenses. It basically consists the body (where the film is loaded, or a Digital sensor), and a lens. You just bought the body. Now you need the lens.

I'd suggest getting the Nifty Fifty lens (Nikon 50mm f/1,8). But it really depends on personal taste and what you're shooting.

I'd go with abe above on this and get a 50mm Nikkor lens. Your photography class probably wouldn't expect you to get anything else.
